Daily operation:
Preparations: Make sure the grease gun is filled with the proper lubricant container, and make sure the connecting lines and nozzles are tight.
Start the grease gun: Start the grease gun by connecting the grease gun to the compressed air source and turning on the air supply switch. Make sure the pressure regulator valve on the grease gun is adjusted to the proper working pressure.
Positioning nozzle: Align the nozzle of the grease gun to the lubrication point of the equipment to be lubricated accurately. Make sure that the distance and angle between the nozzle and the lubrication point is correct.
Inject lubricant: By operating the trigger or switch of the grease gun, the compressed air pushes the lubricant from the nozzle to the lubrication point of the equipment. Inject lubricant as needed to ensure that the lubrication points are adequately lubricated.
Check the lubrication effect: observe whether the lubricant reaches the lubrication point smoothly, and ensure that the lubricant fully covers the lubrication surface. Re-lubricate as needed until lubrication points are properly lubricated.
Maintainance:
Cleaning the Grease Gun: Use detergent and a clean cloth or brush to clean the exterior surface and nozzle of the grease gun. Make sure to remove any dirt or residue that clings to the grease gun.
Check and Replace Parts: Regularly check the condition of the seals, springs, pistons, and other parts of the grease gun. If any wear or damage is found, replace the parts promptly to ensure the proper operation of the grease gun.
Lubricate the Grease Gun: Apply the proper amount of lubricant to the appropriate greasing points, according to the manufacturer's recommendations, to ensure that the internal mechanisms of the grease gun work properly.
Storing the Grease Gun: When not in use, store the grease gun properly in a dry, clean place away from moisture and corrosive substances. Keep your grease gun in safe storage and prevent it from being damaged or lost.
